Coaches and buses that are not used on a registered bus service can apply for a temporary local exemption until 31st May 2023. After 31st May 2023, non-compliant vehicles must be charged.
You’ll need to provide the following pieces of evidence to support your application:
- An image or copy of the V5C document which shows the VRN and the vehicle classification
